It might sound strange, but I think we actually started really well. However, one moment of underestimating the situation gave them a chance, and they capitalized on it with a goal. From there, we had to work incredibly hard to get back into the game, and scoring the equalizer just before half-time made a huge difference.

In the earlier games, we also conceded a few chances, but they didn’t result in goals. Lately, it seems like almost every chance against us ends up in the back of the net. That’s just part of a normal season. Being 1-0 down for a while made it a tighter contest until we pulled ahead and made it 3-1. After that, you could really see how good we are.

On the title race: "It’s a bit of a boring answer, but we just take it game by game. You’re always aware of how many matches are left to play. Especially in the Premier League, you see surprising results that make you think, ‘I didn’t expect that.’ If something similar happened in the Eredivisie, you might feel like, ‘Well, that’s it.’"

On contract discussions with Van Dijk, Salah, and Alexander-Arnold: "We don’t discuss contracts publicly—these matters are for the players. But it’s obvious that Mo had another excellent game. Virgil was outstanding, and Trent was very good for most of the match, with just one or two minor lapses."
